Do Shi Rak in Stuttgart

Tasty and fresh Korean food. Due to the very small team, it is sometimes difficult to reach them, but the food is worth the wait. I do hope the business can grow while keeping its authenticity.

I love love love the doshirak and the wonderful owner and cook so much! The dedication with which she prepares fresh and delicious Korean food is incredible. It is really important to her that you are happy with what you get. She won't take tips if you've never tried her food before and don't really know that you like it. If I lived nearby, I would have to pull myself together not to go through the menu there every day! Also for the vegans: She makes sure that vegan and non-vegan dishes are processed separately and with other utensils. Feed your way through the vegan menu and let yourself be inspired :)

The pair who runs Do Shi Rak are always polite and very very friendly. The food is always tasty, warm, clean and in huge portions! Being myself not that into korean food (in the past), I can now realize that I was always at 'wrong' restaurants. After tasting Do Shi Rak, I now know I like korean food! Keep it up guys! Already recommended to friends and family! Useless to say that you won a regular guest :) PS: just a suggestion: maybe it's time to open a restaurant where we (as guests) can sit and have a real korean meal, not only as a take away! That would be really great!

Small, inconspicuous shop with fantastic, authentic, Korean food. I am always looking forward to it and can recommend every dish so far. Price-performance is also great! I can only give 5 stars for the friendliness. The following experience says everything about the way of thinking and philosophy: On the first visit we wanted to tip and were then asked if we had already ordered food, because if it was the first time we would not know whether we liked the food at all . In this case we should try the food first :) Thank you for this enrichment in S-Ost!

Very good Korean food after a long time. We got a bibimbap and it was delicious. The kimchi was authentic, the mushrooms were great. We did a take away because of the Corona situation. Food was well packed and was warm when we opened it 10 mins later.

1a Korean food and an asset for Stuttgart East. Friendly owner who attaches great importance to customer satisfaction and everything freshly prepared. Pre-ordering and collecting it yourself is also super and quick.

The food tastes really great! We stumbled upon this authentic shop by chance and we are really happy about it. We can expressly recommend it! Apart from the delicious food and the shop itself, you have to praise the very friendly staff - you really feel at home here. Both thumbs up and keep it up !!

I'm a Korean myself and I always had a hard time finding a good authentic Korean restaurant in Stuttgart - until I found Do Shi Rak! My favorite is their Dakgalbi! I was very surprised when I first tried it. It's reasonably priced and you get good amount of food and it's authentic Korean food. The owner is a Korean lady and she is very sweet and kind. Give this place a try!

Incredibly good. We liked everything and the lady was super friendly. We didn’t know it was only take away. So while we were eating on the bench in front of the store the lady brought as a small table and since it was cold she gave us some nice Korean tea. Absolutely recommend. Portion are big and good value!

It was delicious. The owner was incredibly nice. She had given tips on how to eat the food properly and also said that the kimchi should be stored in the refrigerator for a few days before you eat because it would be better then. Since it was also my first visit, she hadn't taken a tip on principle. After all, you would have to try the food first before you can reward someone for it. In retrospect, I would really have loved to tip her because it was really tasty.

Great Korean Imbiss in Stuttgart-Ost! The owner is a great resourceful lady who goes beyond to please her guests. They mostly do take-away but there is also a bar table with around 4 places where you can eat on-site. Food is good and portions big, it is the place to go when you are extra hungry!

We felt the four of us ordered the whole menu ("Are you going to have a party?" - "No, we just crave food!") The owner is incredibly personable and we definitely have to give her five stars because everything everything really tasted incredibly good. We are eating the leftovers cold and now: phenomenal! We will definitely come back and eat her hair off her head :)

Really authentic and super tasty! The landlady is very nice and in a great mood. You can tell that she loves what she does. Good price-performance ratio. The only criticism is the extreme smell in the shop. That doesn't bother you while you're there, but the whole outfit has to be put into the washing machine afterwards.

This small shop in the east of Stuttgart offers real Korean flair and besides many goodies to take away, home-made Korean cuisine at its finest. At first glance you are a little overwhelmed by the wealth of impressions, but you should not be put off by that. Just talk to the boss - she is very friendly and explains everything and gives you good tips. The chef and cook does everything herself with a lot of passion and attention to detail and fresh in front of the guests. The food was really tasty and the price very good.

Amazing restaurant, the auntie is so cute!! It feels like I am in her house. We had the dumplings and the soup. The meals were huge and it’s cheap!

+ Good value for money: most dishes cost in the range of 5 € to 9 € + Quite a lot of choices + You can also buy some K foods (ramen, drinks) - very little seating - tastes good but of course no delicatessen.

Super friendly and helpful mom's excellent Korean foods+groceries. They speak very good English. You should try her Bibimbap and Kimbap!

Very good. One of the best Dakgalbis I’ve had outside of Cuncheon. Bulgogi burger and Pajeon were tasty too. Small place. Cook was super friendly. One of the best values in Stuttgart and hands down, best Korean. Can’t wait to go back

I’m a Korean and it is a place you can find authentic Korean foods. We had two Gimbop(김밥) for three person, and the portion was enough. The price is reasonable consider the quality and quantity of foods. It is a hidden gem! The owner is very friendly and kind so you will have very nice feeling while you stay there :)
